„Getting the River back to the City“. Competition Brno. 2017. Svratka River Front – Public Architectural and Landscape Design One-Phase Competition
Subject of the competition: The object of the competition is the architectural and landscape proposal for embankment of the river Svratka defined by the exhibition areal from the west and the main railway station from the east (closer specified further in the competition brief). it will be a comprehensive revitalization of urban space associated with flood control meas- ures and at the same time creating strategies for active and passive use of yet omitted value of the city, which represents the river Svratka.
The purpose and aim of the competition is to find and reward the most suitable and the most inter- esting solution to the subject of the competition (i.e. the most suitable competition design), which fulfils the requirements of the announcer as con- tained in the present competition conditions and assignment. Among the prize-winning competition designs the City of Brno will look for partners that would work on the project documentation of the multifunctional sports complex.
